Anti-Bullying Alliance

The Anti-Bullying Alliance (ABA) was founded by NSPCC and National Children's Bureau in 2002. It is hosted and supported by NCB. The Alliance brings together over 50 organisations into one network with the aim of reducing bullying and creating safer environments in which children and young people can live, grow, play and learn.

Swindon Music Service head an annual song writing competition in November, where children are invited to write songs and raps  telling of their experience with bullying.

Artsmad

Artsmad is a local strategic development initiative driven by Swindon Borough Council Arts Services and Arts Council England. It is working with local and regional organizations to provide access to high quality arts experiences for children and young people.

Community Radio 105.5 FM

105.5 FM is a local community radio station. The Music Service has worked alongside 105.5 FM on many occasions, including the annual Anit-bullying Campaign song writing competition and more recently Battle of the Bands.

Create

Create is a film and media organisation providing unique services to local people in the areas of training, professional development, education and outreach.

Federation of Music Services (FMS)

The Federation of Music Services was established in 1996 and currently has a membership of 150 music services. It works closely with the DCSF (formerly the DfES) OfSTED and the QCA as well as fellow music organisations such as MEC and NAME.

Swindon Music Service is an affilliated member of FMS.

Flux

Flux is a programme of arts activities for children and young people in Priory Vale - a large new housing development in North Swindon. It is managed by Artsmad and it aims to provide access to high quality arts experiences for children and young people.

Friends of Swindon Young Musicians

The Friends of Swindon Young Musicians is a charitable trust which supports the young musicians who belong to Swindon Young Musicians.

Pertemps

Swindon Borough Council works in partnership with Pertemps. They are the major supplier for temporary staff within the council. The Music Service works with Pertemps and they provide payroll assistance for all our approved tutors.

Sing Up

Sing Up is the Music Manifesto's National Singing Programme. It's a programme to make sure that singing is at the heart of every primary school child's life. We believe that singing has power to change lives and help to build stronger communities

Swindon Music Co-Operative

The Swindon Music Co-Operative works in partnership with the Music Service and is a major supplier in the delivery of instrumental/vocal tuition in Swindon Schools.

Youth Music

Youth Music works alongside the formal and community based sectors to support music making and training. Our funding complements music in the national curriculum by supporting activities held mainly outside of school hours and delivered by non-profit making organisations.
