Who are the Friends of SYM?

The Friends of Swindon Young Musicians is a charitable organisation that supports the smooth running of Swindon Young Musicians.

The objective of the Friends of Swindon Young Musicians is to support, maintain, promote, improve and develop participation in musical activities by the children and young people within the local community and its surrounding areas.

The committee meets two to three times per year at the Swindon Music Centre, but is broken down into sub groups which meet on a more regular basis to organise things such as fund raising ideas, perfomances, plus the day to day house keeping arrangements.

AGM 2010

This year's AGM will be held on Monday 19th July starting at 7.30pm held at the music centre.

Following on from the AGM there will be a short meeting for the trustees.
